A transfer between centralized exchanges is a standard part of spot arbitrage, but a wrong network, missing memo, fee change, or closed wallet can turn a good spread into a support ticket. Follow this process before every send.

1) Start at the destination exchange
Open the destination deposit page first. It defines the asset, the supported networks, the deposit address, and any memo or tag required to credit the funds.

- •Copy the address and memo/tag from the live deposit page
2) Confirm the source withdrawal route
Now open the source exchange withdrawal screen. The same asset and exact network must be available there too.

3) Calculate the real transfer cost
The cheapest-looking network is not always the best route. Compare the fee, expected processing time, confirmation requirement, and the price risk while the asset is in transit.

- •Choose a route that leaves enough net profit after all trading and transfer costs
4) Check account restrictions
Every exchange can apply account-level or asset-specific limits. A route may appear open but still reject the size you need.

- •Check any cooldown, whitelist, or risk-control requirement
- •Keep enough balance for the transfer fee in addition to the amount you send
5) Send, track, and verify the credit
For a route you have not used recently, a small test transfer is cheap insurance. Keep the transaction hash until the destination balance is credited.
